Lake Wide Event Osage Beach Missouri 65065 Phone: 1-800-386-5253 Region: L “They'll have to go some to beat last year,” remarked Lake Havasu Boat Show organizer, Bob Brown. “Our 2018 Lake Havasu Boat Show was a record setter, largest in our history with over 140 exhibitors and more than 9,000 attending visitors. We’ve set the bar really high, but we’re looking forward to an even better show this year, April 5-7, 2019 at Lake Havasu State Park, Windsor 4. Unlike conventional boat shows which occupy indoor land-locked venues, the Lake Havasu Boat Show, co-sponsored by Jet Renu and Mohave State Bank, is all outdoors and on-the-water. The Windsor 4 area borders the famous London Bridge Channel and the northern basin of Lake Havasu, and that immediate water access will again be put to good use. “Windsor 4 has a first-class seven-lane launch ramp, courtesy docks and two large white-sand beaches,” said Brown. “There will be a variety of demo boat models at the courtesy docks including pontoons, wakesport boats, JetBoats and family sportboats. For those interested in checking out and test riding on some the newest jet boats, personal watercraft, kayaks and stand-up paddleboards, that activity will be happening from the main beach. There’s no boat show in the country that offers more boater interaction with product for consumers.” Something else Jet boaters will find appealing is the ability to ‘boat-to-the-boat-show’ with their own boat. There’s a finely manicured 600-foot long white-sand beach directly adjacent to the boat show London Bridge Channel’s northern shore. Boaters can pull their boats up on the beach for no charge and walk directly into the boat show. Normal Jet Boat boat show admission prices do prevail. “We expect between 250 to 300 new boats to be on display at the boat show,” commented Brown, “including a lot of the latest 2019 models. And if you’re into high performance and exotic marine equipment, no place in the western United States will have as many custom boat manufacturers present plus Mercury Racing with their full complement of engine and propulsion models.” The 28th Annual Lake Havasu Boat Show, presented in conjunction with the Lake Havasu Marine Association, opens to the public on Friday, April 5 at noon. Saturday and Sunday, gates open at 9am. Admission is $8.00 for adults and kids six and under are free, and parking is also free. The Lake Havasu State Park, Windsor 4 is located at 171 London Bridge Road, next to the Hampton Inn. Exhibitors interested in participating at the boat show should call 951-501-0210 or email info@lakehavasuboatshow.com. Deminsions: L 57" W 25" Wieght 17.5lbs Introducing the largest, most luxurious jet drive Jet Boats featuring Yamaha’s all-new, world’s first DRiVE technology for enhanced maneuverability HIGHLIGHTS: • Yamaha’s first foray into the luxury 27-foot Jetboat category. • First Yamaha Jet boats powered by twin, supercharged Yamaha marine engines. • Features world’s first DRiVE technology for enhanced low speed maneuverability. • Features “floating” 12.3-inch Connext touchscreen with 16 million colors and 1000 nits brightness. • Comes standard with industry-first, patent pending swim up seating that attaches to stern and sits just below the waterline. • First Yamaha jet drive boats with galley area that includes a premium counter and plumbed sink. The all-new Yamaha 275 Series Jet boat is the “Rev Your Heart” brand’s first foray into the luxury 27-foot category and is now the largest and widest jet drive Jetboat available today. For 2019, The 275 Series is available in three choices, the base model 275E, the more deluxe 275SE, and the flagship 275SD. The 275SE features a semi-rigid top while the SD model features a hardtop with skylight. Exclusive to the top-of-the-line 275SD model is Yamaha’s new DRiVE system with paddle controls on the steering wheel that provides new levels of confidence for maneuvering a 27-foot jet boat in tight spaces and around the dock. All-New Styling Concept from Yamaha The added length of the 275 Series jet boat inspired Yamaha engineers to stretch their imagination and design prowess, and they succeeded beyond expectation. The profile of the 275 Series is powerful and unique, with the flair of a luxury jet boat that one might see moored in Monaco and Cannes. The driver-forward position and bold wrap-around window treatment add to the 275’s sophisticated allure, and the expansive stern play area and open walkthrough transom give the impression that a party could go off at a moment’s notice. Twin, Yamaha Supercharged Marine Engines The Yamaha 275 Series jet boats are the first to feature twin, supercharged Yamaha 1.8L SVHO marine engines. These engines are the most technologically-advanced motors in a jet drive boat today. The Yamaha SVHO engine is powerful, fuel-efficient, and virtually maintenance-free. And because these compact, lightweight engines and the driveline are placed deep inside the hull, acceleration is instant, bow rise is minimal, and more deck space is available for fun that would otherwise be wasted by a large, intruding engine compartment like that found on other brands’ jet boats. Yamaha DRiVE Function with Paddle Controls Yamaha’s flagship 275SD model features an industry-first low speed function called DRiVE. The patented DRiVE system allows the operator to maneuver this 27-foot jetboat precisely around docks, launch ramps, and other tight, congested spaces with confidence. The DRiVE function is engaged using the Connext touchscreen. One touch and DRiVE is enabled. It’s that simple. Then, by using actuating paddle controls on the steering wheel, the operator can toggle between forward or reverse and can control speeds in both directions. And because there’s no gearcase to shift with a jet driveline, the action is completely seamless. At no time does the driver need to remove their hands from the steering wheel. The result is a new standard of slow speed maneuverability that is intuitive, comfortable, and convenient. Yamaha Connext Touchscreen Yamaha’s award-winning Connext touchscreen is the hub for the 275 Series entertainment functions, DRiVE control, GPS mapping, and important boat data when underway. And its minimalistic 12.3-inch “floating” design adds to the 275’s sophisticated helm layout With more than 16 million colors and 1000 nits backlight, the Connext display is much brighter than a smartphone, making it easy to see in direct sunlight. With the motors turned on, the main screen displays engine RPMs, water depth, fuel level, and operating speed. To control the other functions of the 275, just select the appropriate tab located across the top of the display. Yamaha’s Connext touchscreen is intuitive, reliable, and made from the most durable materials available for marine electronics. Industry-First Swim Up Stern Seating Industry-first features can be found everywhere on the new Yamaha 275 series jetboats, including a new patent pending innovation on the stern At anchor, two removable seats can be attached to the stern. These seats sit just below the water’s surface, providing comfortable in-water seating facing the transom of the jetboat. With the ladder in between both seats, egress back on the boat is a breeze. When ready to go underway, merely bring the seats back on board. Convertible Stern Lounges One of the chief goals in the design of the new Yamaha 275 Series was to connect the stern and the cockpit areas so that the inside of the 275 feels like one large area for all types of entertaining. To do that, Yamaha designers chose new convertible stern seating with seat backs that can be flipped forward or aft to provide versatile seating options throughout the stern and cockpit. The area overall is slightly larger than a full-size bed, so the options for lounging and entertaining are bigger than ever before. Galley with Premium Counter and Plumbed Sink The Yamaha 275 Series is designed for socializing, which makes its galley area such a great addition. This galley comes with one of the largest counters in its class and a plumbed sink that comes standard. The galley area integrates perfectly with the flow of the boat, sculpted in aft of the driver and easily accessible for all passengers in the cockpit. Large storage areas under the counter provide space for a full weekend’s worth of supplies. The sleek design combined with complete functionality makes this galley design a feature the premium boater will appreciate every time they’re out on the water. Expansive Port-Side Storage/Head Compartment Taking advantage of the wide beam on the 275 Series, Yamaha engineers were able to create an extra-large head compartment and port side storage area located just in front of the passenger captain’s seat. With a huge door that swings open wide, accessing the area is a breeze, even for adults. The premium features continue inside the compartment with a new extendable shelf area with storage compartments. From bow to stern, there is nothing cookie-cutter about the Yamaha 275 Series. From its striking good looks to industry-first innovations like DRiVE, the 275’s are the most exciting new models to enter the 27-foot runabout category in decades. 2019 YAMAHA 275 SERIES Jet Boat SPECIFICATIONS: Engine Type: Twin 1.8L supercharged Yamaha SVHO marine engines
Displacement: 1812cc Impeller: 3-blade, stainless steel Length: 27’ Beam: 9’ Fuel Capacity: 90 gallons Person Capacity: Yacht Certified Storage Capacity: 740 gallons Assembled: Yamaha Jet Boat Manufacturing in Vonore, TN Yamaha WaterCraft Group, a division of the Yamaha U.S. Marine Business Unit, announced today that Boating magazine named the Yamaha 210 FSH center console JetBoat as their choice for the 2018 Boat of Year. Boat of the Year is the most prestigious media honor in the recreational boating industry, based on the opinion of Boating magazine editors who test more than 120 different makes and models of boats annually, and bring more than 100 years of combined professional boat-testing experience to the table. “There exists no other group of experts with such a depth and breadth of experience. The choice for Boat of the Year is a decision forged in the crucible of this team’s experience. It is a choice for the boat that excels in its category more than any other boat excels in any other category,” said Boating Editor-InChief Kevin Falvey. “Yamaha’s affordable, jet-powered center-console for Jet boaters seeking a multi-mission vessel resulted in a well-designed Jet boat that proved versatile, finely crafted and laden with innovation.” “We spent years researching the market, evaluating ways people use their Jet boats the most, and explored how to innovate to create something completely new. And that was the birth of the FSH Jetboat line for Yamaha,” said Bryan Seti, general manager of Yamaha’s WaterCraft Group. “To receive this prestigious award from Boating magazine commemorates all the hard work from our product team that went into creating this boat, and we’re thrilled to be able to share the fruits of their efforts with our FSH customers.” The Yamaha 210 FSH Jetboat is the 21-foot edition of Yamaha’s center console FSH line that includes 19-foot models too. The 210 FSH Jetboat is available in three variations – the base model 210 FSH, an upgraded 210 FSH Deluxe, and the flagship 210 FSH Sport that comes with the features of the Deluxe with the addition of a custom T-top. All three jetboat models come with Yamaha's award-winning TR-1™ High Output marine engines. The 210 FSH jet boat is special in that the boat includes all the features that fishing enthusiasts require, along with family features that are perfect for an entire day out on the water to include watersports, swimming, and lounging – all in the same jet boat, and at a competitive price starting under $40,000.
Yamaha also introduced a new technology that changes the game for wakesurfing. The new Yamaha Surf Package includes the Yamaha WakeBooster™, which attaches to the stern tie down and can be outfitted on either side of the boat to accommodate riders on both sides of the wake. In contrast to other wake systems that push water down or away from the boat, the Yamaha WakeBooster pulls water energy in to the center of the wake, creating a larger, cleaner wave for surfing. Also part of the Surf Package is a Yamaha tow rope and a custom wakesurf board that was co-designed with Slingshot® “To develop this new surf technology we had to approach it from an entirely new standpoint, searching for ways to best capitalize on the advantages of jet propulsion in ways that had never been tried before,” continued Ricciardi. “After years of testing, we began to realize the possibility of pulling water into the center of the wake, via a “scoop” design, where the influx of water combined with the power of our jets, created a larger surf pocket that extends further behind the boat, with a clean face, plenty of push and wave size to surf with ease.” “The Yamaha WakeBooster totally changed the face of surfing behind Yamaha’s wake series boats for me,” said pro wake rider Danny Hampson. “With quick and easy installation, the WakeBooster shapes not only a surfable wave but a wave that lends itself to more progressive surfing. No longer are you worried about staying with the wave but instead, you can focus on what your next maneuver will be. This is surfing as it should be.”
Yamaha WaterCraft Group, today introduced its 2019 boat line that includes a ground-up redesign of the top-selling 19- foot models, and enhancements to low-speed maneuverability, corrosion resistance and new interfaces on its touchscreen helm controls. In addition, the company announced a new wakesurfing technology that creates the largest, cleanest wake surf ever seen behind a jet powered boat. The products were unveiled at the annual dealer meeting being held in San Diego, CA, where Yamaha also set out its strategy to remain the best-selling boat brand in the 19-foot, 21-foot, and 24-foot family runabout category. “Our boats earned their place at the top of their class by offering a combination of innovative features, technology and performance that remain unmatched by the competition,” said Br yan Seti, Yamaha WaterCraft’s general manager. “Now we’re building on that foundation with a whole new design to our 19-foot boats that offers customers more value than ever before, as well as introducing important updates throughout the line for 2019.”
Featuring an all-new 19’ deck and hull design for the Coastal Living family HIGHLIGHTS: • New deck and hull are 3” longer and 2” wider than previous year models. • Wider, more accessible storage areas featuring integrated Plano® storage trays at the bow. • New premium color-matched tower and Bimini Top™ for the 190 FSH Sport. • New helm layout featuring the 4.3” Connext® control system and plenty of room for third-party electronics. • New Articulating Keel design reduces drag while maintaining low-speed maneuverability benefits. • Features proprietary three-step coating process that increases corrosion resistance to the jet pump and surrounding driveline parts. • Designed for all Coastal Living activities from fishing, to touring, to family recreation. For 2019, Yamaha’s 19’ center console Jet boats return with an all-new deck and hull design that is 3-inches longer and 2-inches wider than previous year models. With the added space, Yamaha engineers increased storage capacity and improved overall functionality. From bow to stern, there is not another 19’ center console boat as spacious or more comfortable. Under the waterline, the longer, wider hull is designed for added comfort too; favoring characteristics that reduce bow rise when accelerating, and hull packing when operating in choppy water conditions. Another significant improvement that is included on all Yamaha boats for 2019 is a new V-shaped reverse bucket that enhances handling when in reverse, a redesigned Articulating Keel that reduces drag, and a new compliment of corrosion resistance measures to protect the jet pump and surrounding driveline parts. The new V-Bucket works by diverting water thrust laterally (not down) to take advantage of the benefits of side thrust. The redesigned Articulating Keel is thinner and with tigher tolerances to reduce drag while maintaining all its low-speed handling benefits. And to increase corrosion resistance to the jet pump and surrounding driveline parts, a three-step process that combines Alumite, a ceramic coating, and expoxy paint has been added. Yamaha’s Most Usable Deck Layout Ever in a 19’ Center Console Jet BoatStarting at the bow, the storage compartments are larger, and open wider than before. To help keep tackle and other essentials organized, Plano® storage trays are integrated into the new portside mini-pod storage compartment, and on the starboard side, the mini pod opens into a huge storage area. These padded mini pods also serve as convenient ingress and egress points. The bow platform is wider than previous year models, and the bow platform hatch is wider too, providing better access and more light that helps when stowing or retrieving gear. The bench seat and front of the center console lifts up to reveal an extra deep, large storage area that can also serve as a changing room or a head compartment thanks to the curtain enclosure that is included on the Deluxe and Sport models. The entryway to this compartment is redesigned from previous year models to make ingress and egress easier. This compartment can also store equipment and recreational items and offers convenient access to the backside of the helm for easy service and installation of aftermarket marine electronics. On the sides of the center console are six vertical rod holders, three on each side. Four additional rod holders are located under the gunnels on the port and starboard sides. With the addition of four flush mount rod holders on the deck, there are a total of 14-rod holders across the boat. The Sport version adds four more rocket launchers on the ttop. The helm is thoughtfully designed with a simple to remove windshield for low profile storage, a stainless steel sports steering wheel, easy access to all boat control switches, a locking glove box, and an open area to flush mount electronics such as a fish finder, a GPS unit, and other marine electronics. Also included is Yamaha’s 4.3” touchscreen Connext control system featuring a brand new user interface in 2019, and conveniently-placed rocker switches for Yamaha’s No Wake Mode™ and Cruise Assist, along with the bilge, horn, and other vital functions. Completing the helm is an angled footrest for comfort and stability when underway. Behind the helm is a padded leaning post with a backrest (on Deluxe and Sport). Under the leaning post is a dedicated space for a second cooler which is included on all models. A new design feature that makes the deck layout more usable are removable backrests for the port and starboard jump seats. These backrests can be quickly and easily stowed away, opening access to the stern. In addition, the livewell is relocated forward for easier access from more areas of the boat. On the port side aft of the helm is more dedicated storage along with easy battery access. On the starboard side is an 25-gallon live well with two pumps (one to fill the live well and a second pump for the recirculation system that is controlled at the helm). Yamaha’s 190 FSH also features a raw water Jet Wash® washdown system that utilizes water thrust from the jet drive system to allow boat owners to easily clean their deck without needing an additional pump. New for 2019, the washdown system comes with three RPM setting to better control water pressure. The transom area on the 190 FSH is unlike any other center console boat on the market. Since the engine and drive train are mounted in the hull, the entire back of the boat is open for unobstructed casting, towing and enjoying activities on the back of the boat. On the Deluxe and Sport models, the leaning post is convertible and can be flipped back toward the helm for added comfort and versatility. The 190 FSH features Yamaha's signature two-tier swim platform that sits low at the water’s edge. A retractable stern ladder makes reboarding after swimming a breeze. The transom also includes a tow eye for watersports and a compartment that holds a five-gallon bucket. Like all Yamaha boats, the 190 FSH features a patented clean out port that allows for the removing of debris from the jet pump without having to get in the water or swim under the boat. 2019 190 FSH SERIES SPECIFICATIONSEngine Type: Single 1.8L High Output Yamaha marine engine (190 FSH Series) Displacement: 1812cc
